THOUGHTS BEHIND THIS GAME

I love the challenge of a game jam. I wanted to test my abilities to design within the constraints of the theme (stronger together) and create a game where the player can only complete the level by using both the player and platform. 

I also wanted to test out the PICO-8 game engine. I loved the look of it (8-bit) and the pitch on a 'fantasy console' intrigued me. I was surprised as to how quickly someone can create something in this engine.
